How to Troubleshoot ShareGrid Login Issues

Quick Fixes for Account Recovery, Deletion, and Sign-In Problems

Updated over 3 weeks ago

If you’re having trouble logging into your ShareGrid account, follow these steps to identify and fix the problem.

1. General Login Troubleshooting

  • Check your email address – Make sure you’re using the correct one linked to your account and double-check for typos.

  • Reset your password – Click Forgot Password on the login page and follow the instructions in the reset email.

2. If Your Account Was Deleted

If you see an Access Denied message after deleting your account:

  • Clear cookies and cache in your browser before trying again.

  • Start a fresh login session with a different or new account.

3. If You Lost Access to Your Email

If you signed up with Google and can’t access your Gmail:

  • Contact ShareGrid Support and verify your identity.

  • Request an email update so your account can be linked to a new address.

  • Troubleshoot dual authentication issues: If your Google account has two-factor authentication enabled but you've lost access to backup codes or the linked phone number, recover your Google account first using Google’s official recovery process before trying to log in to ShareGrid again.

Tips to Prevent Future Login Problems- Regularly update your Google account recovery details, such as backup codes and linked phone numbers, to prevent login disruptions.

  • Keep your email address and phone number current in your account settings.

  • Always log in from a secure, private connection, especially on shared devices.
