Step 1: First-Time Renters & Approval
To ensure a safe rental experience, all first-time renters (local or shipping) must complete a quick verification process:
ID Verification: Submit your ID during or before your first order.
Fast Approval: Most approvals take about 30 minutes during business hours. Occasionally, we may request additional information.
Verification Confirmation: Once verified, you will receive an email confirmation.
If We Don’t Hear Back: Orders that are missing required information will be canceled at the end of the shipping day.

Step 2: Submitting a Rental Request
Choose Dates: On the listing page, click “Select Dates,” choose your delivery and return dates, then click “Add to Rental Cart.”
Open Your Cart: Click the cart icon in the top-right corner.
See Pricing Instantly: Rental and shipping costs will update automatically.
Review Your Items: Double-check everything in your cart.
Checkout: Follow the on-screen prompts.
Get Confirmation: You will receive an email once your reservation is confirmed.
Payment Timing: Your card will only be charged when the order is ready to ship.
Important Notes:
Rentals cannot start or end on Saturdays or Sundays, as carriers do not operate on those days.
Select a delivery date at least one day before you need the gear to account for rare carrier delays.
While ShareGrid ships on time, delivery timing depends on carrier once the package is in transit.
Step 3: Rental Periods Explained
Your rental officially begins at 5 PM local time on whichever occurs later:
The scheduled start date, or
The first delivery attempt.
Time is counted in 24-hour increments, and equipment must be returned by 5 PM on the final day of your rental.
Example: If you schedule a 7-day rental starting on Tuesday, your rental begins at 5 PM on Tuesday. The gear must be returned by 5 PM the following Tuesday to avoid late fees.
