Getting ready to rent out your gear on ShareGrid but do not have coverage? Here’s what you need to know.

Great news, Owners– you are not required to have an insurance policy to rent your gear out on ShareGrid. The coverage or insurance requirement only applies to Renters.

As an Owner, you may be interested in coverage options available to you. By purchasing a Short-Term or Annual Insurance plan, you can get coverage for renting gear from others on and off ShareGrid. Your gear will be protected even when it's not being rented. Additionally, Owners can opt for a voluntary parting coverage add-on to an annual insurance policy. This coverage can benefit rentals with a replacement value over $20k or rentals not covered under ShareGrid's Owner Guarantee.
