Tracking Your ShareGrid Rentals in Google Calendar

Add Events or Subscribe to the Rental Calendar with Ease

To easily track your ShareGrid rentals in Google Calendar, follow these simple steps:

To Add a Rental Calendar Event to Google Calendar

1. Access Your Rental

  • After accepting a rental request, click the "mail icon" to access your message inbox and select the rental from your inbox.

  • On the rental page, click "Add to Calendar" to download a .ics file for that rental.


2. Add the Rental Event to Google Calendar

  • Open Google Calendar on your computer.

  • Click the settings gear icon in the top right corner, then select "Settings."

  • Click "Import & Export."

  • Click "Select file from your computer" and choose the .ics file you downloaded.

  • Choose the calendar you want to add the event to. By default, events will be imported into your primary calendar.

  • Click "Import."

To Subscribe to The Rental Calendar, Follow These Steps:

  1. Go to your account settings by clicking your profile photo thumbnail.

  • Click 'Settings'.

  • Select 'Account.'

  • Scroll to 'Subscribe to Rental Calendar' and copy the link under “Sync upcoming ShareGrid rentals to your calendar…”

2. Open Google Calendar on your computer.

  • On the left, next to "Other calendars," click the “+” icon.

  • Select "From URL."

  • Enter the calendar's address using the link you copied.

  • Click "Add calendar." The calendar will appear on the left under "Other calendars."

  • To change the calendar's name, click the “” next to the name and select “Settings.”
