If you'd like to delete your ShareGrid account, please follow the steps below. Before doing so, we need to verify that there are no active transactions or open claims linked to your account. Please keep in mind that permanent deletion is final and cannot be reversed.
Please note: If you delete your account while having an active ShareGrid Plus subscription, the subscription will be automatically canceled, and you will lose any remaining time or benefits.
If you’re unsure about permanently deleting your account, there are alternative options that let you keep your data. For instance, you can request a temporary ban. When you temporarily ban an account, its information is saved, but it is no longer accessible or visible on the platform. If you'd prefer to request a temporary ban instead, contact us at help@sharegrid.com. Additionally, make sure any active subscriptions are canceled or resolved before requesting a temporary ban.
Steps to Request Account Deletion:
Log in to your ShareGrid account.
Click on your profile image thumbnail.
Go to 'Settings.'
Select 'Account.'
Scroll down and click 'Request Account Deletion.' This will send us an email request through a pop-up window.
Can't Submit a 'Request Account Deletion' Through Your Account?
If you no longer have access to your ShareGrid account or are experiencing issues with it, you can request account deletion by emailing help@sharegrid.com. Please include the email address and phone number linked to the account you wish to delete. Once we receive your request, we will review the information and proceed with closing your account.
Reusing Identifiers after Deletion
After deleting your account, identifiers like your phone number and email address can be reused for new accounts. It's important to know that these identifiers will no longer be linked to the deleted account, allowing you to create and verify new accounts.
