Congratulations on completing your sale or rental on ShareGrid! We want to make sure you receive your payouts smoothly and promptly. Here's a step-by-step guide on how payouts are processed:
Step 1: ShareGrid to Stripe:
Once your equipment is returned, head to your ShareGrid inbox and open the rental conversation.
Click on "Mark as Complete" to initiate the payout process.
Your rental profits will be sent to your Stripe account within 3 days of completing the rental.
Please mark your rentals as complete only after you've received all your gear in working order. This helps ensure you get your profits as quickly as possible.
To keep track of the transfer status to Stripe, you can check the rental confirmation page.
When making a sale, our payment processor, Stripe, securely holds the payment during shipment and the purchase review period.
The funds will be automatically disbursed into your Stripe account after the purchase review period (48 hours after the buyer receives the item - marked by shipping tracking).
Subsequently, Stripe will transfer the funds into your connected bank account.
Step 2: Stripe to Your Bank:
Once the funds are in your Stripe account, payouts will be initiated at the end of the day automatically by Stripe without any action required from you or ShareGrid. Here's what you can expect:
Established Stripe Express accounts:
Payouts generally take 1-2 business days to arrive in your connected bank account after initiating the payout.
New Stripe Express accounts:
Please be aware that the first payouts might take up to 7 business days to be disbursed from Stripe to your bank account. This slight delay allows Stripe to mitigate some risks associated with providing credit services. It's important to note that Stripe's policy governs this process and cannot be expedited by ShareGrid.
To view your payouts and keep track of your earnings, you can easily access them under Settings > Payouts > View Payouts.
