Why do I need to add a phone number? How do I verify my phone number? Who sees my phone number once it's on my account? Is it public?

Thank you for choosing our platform. As part of our thorough ID verification process, we ask that you verify your phone number.

To add or change the phone number associated with your account, please navigate to the "Settings" section and click "ID Verification." From there, you can easily access the option to "Change Your Phone Number."

To complete the verification process, please input your phone number in the designated box and click the 'send code' button. You will receive a verification code via text message, which you can enter to finalize the verification procedure in the box you provided.

So that you know, our system currently supports verifying cell phone numbers based in the United States only. Unfortunately, we do not accept international phone numbers, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) numbers, or landlines that cannot receive text messages.

Once we have successfully verified your phone number, you can receive text notifications for messages received on ShareGrid. You can also directly reply to other users via text, as your messages will appear on the website.

We understand the importance of privacy and want to ensure your phone number won't be displayed. It will only be shared with the other member(s) involved in a confirmed rental transaction.
