To ensure the safety and trust of our community, our team directly verifies each third-party insurance policy used on ShareGrid with the respective insurance company.

We'll guide you step-by-step through the verification process to ensure the safety of our community.

Uploading Your Insurance Details:

  1. Login to ShareGrid: Sign in to your account.

  2. Access Settings: Click on your profile picture and choose ‘Settings'.

  3. Navigate to Insurance: On the left panel, click ‘Insurance'.

  4. Select Third Party: Look for the 'Third Party' tab and click on it.

  5. Start Setup: Click on 'Setup Third Party Insurance' and follow the on-screen instructions to provide your policy details.

  6. Submission & Verification: After you enter the details, our team will contact your insurance provider to validate the policy's coverage limit and effective dates.

How Will I Know It's Verified?

Once we've confirmed the details, you'll see a green checkmark with “Insurance Verified” next to your policy in your account.

Timeframe & Expedited Verification:

  • Expected Duration: Insurance verification typically takes one to two business days. The speed of this process largely depends on your insurance provider's responsiveness.

  • Business Hours: Most insurance providers operate from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. PST. We recommend keeping these timings in mind for verifications.

  • Need it Faster? For quicker verification, you can:

    • Inform your insurance provider about our upcoming verification request and urge them to respond promptly.

    • Provide them with our direct contact:

Special Cases with Certain Insurance Providers:

Companies like Hiscox, The Hartford, RVNA, or PPA may require your direct permission before disclosing policy details. If your policy is with one of these companies, please contact them and grant authorization for sharing information with ShareGrid.

We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we work to ensure a safe and secure platform for all members.
