Your rental period will end on the day you've booked for the return, as you and the Owner agreed upon. We recommend contacting the other party to arrange a convenient time and place to ensure a smooth drop-off process. Please take a moment to inspect the gear before returning it to make sure everything is in good working order.
Once you've returned the equipment and the Owner has confirmed its condition, they will mark the rental as complete. Owners can find this option on the confirmation page or in their email. By doing that, ShareGrid will be notified that the rental was successful and that both parties are happy with it. Just to remind you, the Owner has 48 hours to mark the rental complete before our system automatically does it. No additional charges will be applied for returned rentals marked complete after the due date.
What about the drop-off time?
Like the pick-up time, the standard return time is noon on the designated return date. This allows us to prepare the rental for the following user. If you need more time with the gear and want to extend the rental, please contact the Owner in advance to make the necessary arrangements.
We understand that unexpected changes can happen but must be mindful of late returns. Rental Owners may request a late fee for delays. So, we recommend you return the rental on time or notify the Owner if you need an extension.
