This guide outlines the proper procedures for ShareGrid owners who opt to utilize additional rental contracts and credit card authorization forms.

For Owners: To ensure clarity and trust in the rental process, if you require Renters to sign additional documents such as a rental agreement/contract or credit card authorization form, you must clearly state this requirement:

  • On your ShareGrid profile page.

  • On each rental listing page.

This transparency allows Renters to understand all conditions before they commit to a booking.

For Renters: If an Owner requests that you sign additional agreements not listed on their profile or the item's listing page after booking:

  • You are entitled to cancel the rental without any penalties.

  • Our support team can assist with any questions or concerns about the process.
