If you want to offer delivery services with your rentals and need to add a delivery fee, follow these simple steps:

1. Discuss with Your Renter:

  • Agree on the delivery fee with your renter before adding the charge. Clear communication is essential.

2. Confirm the Rental Request:

  • Accept the rental request from your renter. Once booked, you can go ahead and add the fee.

3. Add the Delivery Fee:

  • Open the rental from your message inbox.

  • Click the "Edit Order" button under the 'Order Summary' section.

  • Select "Delivery Charge."

  • Enter the dollar amount for the delivery fee. The new charge will be displayed in the Order Summary section.

  • Click β€œApply.”

That's it! The delivery fee has been successfully added. Both you and your renter can now see the updated Order Summary with the new charge.

Important Note:

  • All charges added to a rental, including delivery fees, are subject to ShareGrid's standard fees.

Bonus Tip: Get a 'Delivery' Badge for Your Account

If you plan to offer delivery frequently, you can add a 'Delivery' badge to your account and listings. Here's how:

1. Click on your profile picture at the top of the screen.

2. Select "Settings."

3. Go to the "Account" tab.

4. Check the box next to 'Are you willing to deliver?'

5. Click β€œSave."

Your profile and listings will now display the 'delivery truck' badge, indicating that you offer delivery for an extra fee to renters.
