To maintain a fair marketplace and ensure easy navigation of search results, duplicate listings and overlapping packages are not permitted.
The “Core Item” Rule
Each physical piece of equipment can only be listed as the core item in one listing at a time.
For example, if you own a Sony A7 III camera body, it can only serve as the main item in one listing or package. You may not create multiple packages for the same unit, even if you list a quantity greater than one, because quantity is managed at the listing level.
How to Handle Variations (Lenses & Accessories)
If you want to offer different configurations, such as multiple lens options or accessory setups, you must include them within a single package listing using the Alternatives feature for each component.
Do:
Create one “Sony A7 III Kit” listing and offer a 24–70mm, 35mm, and 85mm lens as selectable alternatives.
Don’t:
Create separate listings or packages, such as “A7 III + 35mm” or “A7 III + 85mm,” using the same camera body and required items.
Why This Matters
Multiple listings for the same core item create an unfair advantage in search results and make it harder for renters to compare gear effectively.
Note: We actively monitor the marketplace for overlapping inventory. If identical core items appear across multiple listings, we reserve the right to consolidate or remove those listings to maintain community standards.
