ShareGrid offers delivery options for rental items – a win-win for owners and renters!

Let's walk you through how it works.

For Owners: If you're an owner looking to offer delivery for your rental items, look no further than our delivery badging system. You can add the 'Delivery Truck' badge to your account and listings to provide greater value for your renters.

To enable this feature, click on your profile picture at the top of the screen, go to Settings, and select the Account tab. Scroll down and find the option labeled 'Are you willing to deliver?' Check the box, click Save, and your profile and listings will be marked with a 'delivery truck' badge. This way, potential renters will know delivery is available for your items, with an extra fee.

Whether or not you have the 'Delivery Truck' badge, you can charge for delivery or pick-up services with your rentals.

To add a delivery fee, follow these steps after accepting a rental request:

  1. Click on the rental from your message inbox.

  2. Click the Edit Order button (located under the 'Order Summary' section).

  3. Select Delivery Charge.

  4. Enter the dollar amount for the delivery charge. This new charge will be shown in the Order Summary section.

  5. Click Apply.

  6. You're all set! The Order Summary will now display the new charge, visible to you and the renter.

Please note that all charges, including delivery fees, are subject to ShareGrid's standard service fee.

For Renters: If you see the "Owner offers delivery for a fee" message on a listing, you can quickly request delivery for your item once the owner accepts your rental request. Just let the owner know you're interested in delivery, and they'll provide you with a personalized delivery quote.

Benefits for Everyone: Delivery service enhances the rental experience for owners and renters. Owners can attract more renters, while renters can enjoy the convenience of having items delivered right to their doorstep.
