  • If an item from your rental goes missing, you are responsible for returning it to the equipment owner promptly.

2. 24-Hour Window for Return:

  • You have a 24-hour grace period from the return date and time to locate and return the missing item.

  • Any transportation or associated costs for the return will be your responsibility.

3. Extending the Return Time:

  • If you need more time to find and return the missing items, you will need to obtain written consent from the equipment owner.

  • This agreement must be documented within the rental conversation on ShareGrid.

4. Potential Late Fees:

  • Delayed returns can disrupt the owner’s subsequent rental arrangements.

  • If items are not returned within the stipulated time, the owner may impose a late fee equivalent to one rental day.

5. Charges for Lost Items:

  • If you cannot locate and return a missing item, you will be charged for the replacement cost.

  • This charge will be made to the card linked to the rental. Failure to collect the amount may involve a collections agency, which could impact your credit score.
