Your ShareGrid profile must be fully completed before any Loss Damage Waiver increase can be processed. Missing or outdated information might result in an automatic denial.

Insufficient Proof of Production Experience

Higher limits depend on proven professional experience and previous ShareGrid rental history. If you don’t provide enough evidence of your work background, your request could be denied.

Acceptable proof includes:

  • IMDB profiles with your credits

  • Vimeo or YouTube links where you’re credited

  • Online portfolios attributed to you

Note: If you use a stage name or alias, please provide documentation linking it to your real name.

Missing Employer Information (If Renting on Behalf of a Company)

If you're renting gear for a production company:

  • Add your work email address to your ShareGrid account settings

  • Notify ShareGrid once it’s added

This helps confirm your affiliation and supports your request for higher limits.
